introducing members to my family

let me make 1 thing perfectly clear: my family isn't into religion. they're not against it they're not into it. that's why they run away from missionaries and members of the church. my brothers run away from them. 1 of them took lessons from missionaries but rejected it. mom said she'd convert if she's not busy. weirdly the members who go to school with my brothers and me aren't that scary. they're less intimidating than the missionaries. that's why i'm assuming they're ok to talk to. i'm usually finding crazy connections with members and my family. examples include me finding out a brother went to school with kids from the church. they're like ok wow. granted when i say Michael or Bobby with the funny last name they know who i'm talking about. ways i'd introduced my family to members is yelling mom or dad repeatedly. i'm like please come here. i know it's annoying. i know they're not intrested. please, just be nice. i'm sorry and i know it's not your thing. they begrudgenly did that. it's annoying for sure. once i'd introduced my friend from the church at Chipotle. he saw me sat down and said hello. he nearly gave me a heart attack. i said hi and got confused. i was like my family's at the table next to us. i'd gotten my family's attention and handed him over to them. i'd eaten a little more and then talked with food in my mouth, a bad habit of mine. he'd found common ground with my family strangely. he was very sweet to them. mom loved him.
